These two large one-bed apartments

...one downstairs #04 and one upstairs #08 are a similar size to our townhouses, but on a single floor.

#04 downstairs offers easy access. There are double entry doors to both the living space and to the bedroom from the outside.

Living space

Inside is a generous living space, with a 3-seater sofa, smart TV, storage space. Outside is a small terrace (#04) or balcony (#08) with table and chairs (and a giant cactus, which regularly flowers).

​Cooking

Facing the street is a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops, sink, stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, small appliances, crockery, cutlery etc. Everything you need to self-cater, or to store and warm up and serve delivery meals. There is also a water cooler. Click here     to see the list of the minimum kitchen items in these apartments. #04 has a gas stove with oven, while #08 has a four burner gas stove-top and an electric pizza oven.

Convenience

In #04 there is also a half-bath accessible from the living room. Each has a full bathroom with walk-in coralina shower with a glass panel, washbasin and WC.

Office/Storeroom

In #04 there is a small office with desk, office chair and UPS, plus several long shelves for storage. In #08 the desk is in the living room, but there is a separate storeroom leading off the kitchen, with plenty of shelves.

Sleeping

#04: through a side door from the living room, via the office, is the bedroom, but also accessible directly from the outside (handy for wheelchair users). This has a king-size bed.

#08: access to the bedroom is from the living room. It has a second balcony, and has a queen-size bed with drawers underneath for extra storage.

Each has a glass-fronted closet, and drawers and shelves. Outside is a small terrace or baloincy with table and chairs and a drying rack for your laundry.

Safety

For your security there is a wall-safe to store documents and cash safely. All windows and doors at ground level have bars. The front doors have a privacy push-button lock and a secure deadlock.

​​Cooling off

There are a/c units and ceiling fans in both living areas and bedrooms. Windows and doors at the front of the building are louvred to keep the space airy and textured, smoked glass provides privacy. Most street-facing windows have been double-glazed to improve temperature control and reduce noise: the bedrooms do not face the street. All windows and doors have mosquito screens. These units stay especially cool, thanks to the NE facing corner location.

Entertainment and working from home/away

There is a TV in each living room and bedroom. Both are smart 43" TVs, and have HDMI connections. Local cable is supplied, and you can use your internet for further viewing. Bring your Netflix login or other online subscription. These apartments have exclusive wifi with 50 mbps download and 20 mbps upload - as recommended by Netflix for watching ultra-high density films on 2 TVs. Plenty also for Zoom meetings, Facetime or Skype with family, friends and colleagues.​​

Mobility

#04 is on the ground floor, with access into each of the main rooms directly through double doors. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible with a walk-in shower and a grab rail. A shower stool is available on request. The outdoors common area has some small slopes, each with bars alongside. Pathways are 30 inches wide, single doorways 26.5 inches, but a pull-release opens the double doors.

#08 is upstairs, with a 14 step stairway and a right-angle turn into a passageway running behind the kitchen. Requires mobility for access.
